The Heart of America Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory requires all cases to be provided with written documentation of legal authority to conduct the search/examination of the media submitted. In cases where a search warrant or written consent to search is not provided, this form will document the legal authority is present necessary to conduct the procedures requested.
