10/10/11 – Carlsbad Man Pleads Not Guilty to Child Pornography Charges
The New Mexico RCFL provided digital forensics expertise to the Carlsbad Police Department in the investigation involving Nicholas Radosevich, 22 who is facing eight counts of child pornography. Authorities executed a search warrant at the home Radosevich shares with his mother on August 23, 2011. According to press reports, Radosevich initially denied viewing and downloading child pornography, but later admitted to police that he did just that. The seized computer was sent to the New Mexico RCFL for analysis.
Radosevich's pre-trial is scheduled for 10/19/11 as the investigation continues.
It is a federal crime to knowingly possess, manufacture, distribute, or access with intent to view child pornography (18 U.S.C. §2252).
