June 15, 2010 — Utah Mom Still Missing

The Intermountain West RCFL (IWRCFL) is supporting the investigation of missing person Susan Powell, who was reported missing on December 7, 2009, when she failed to show up for work. The mother of two was last seen by her husband Josh, on December 6, 2009, who took their sons, two and four, out for a camping trip at 12:30am that day. Mr. Campbell has refused to be questioned by authorities about the camping trip.

The investigation is being conducted by the West Valley City Police Department, a participating agency in the IWRCFL, who, according to news reports, described this as a “missing person’s case with suspicious overtones.” The police have deemed Josh Campbell the only person of interest to date, and he has since left Utah with his sons to live with his father in Puyallup, Washington. Anyone with information about Ms. Powell is asked to contact the West Valley City Police Department on 801-840-4000. A Facebook page was also created containing information about the investigation, and press reports have stated that an anonymous donor is offering a $10,000 reward for “original information” leading to Susan’s whereabouts.
